Toyota Türkiye dealerships recognized among Europe’s best at the 2026 Ichiban Awards

Toyota Türkiye, part of Jameel Motors, is celebrating a major achievement after Toyota Plaza ALJ Ankara dealerships was recognized at the prestigious 2026 Ichiban Awards, Toyota Motor Europe’s highest distinction for customer satisfaction and service quality.

This year, only 47 dealerships from more than 2,200 Toyota retailers across Europe received the award, representing 34 countries. Among them were two dealerships from Türkiye: Toyota Plaza ALJ Ankara and Toyota Plaza Timurağaoğlu in Mardin. The Ichiban Awards recognize dealerships that best embody Toyota’s customer-first philosophy and consistently deliver excellence across customer experience, after-sales services, operational performance, and long-term customer relationships.

The awards were presented during a special ceremony in Portugal’s Algarve region, bringing together Europe’s top-performing Toyota retailers to exchange best practices and discuss the future of customer experience. The award for Toyota Plaza ALJ Ankara was accepted by Gökhan Aşıkoğlu, General Manager of ALJ Otomotiv.

Speaking at the ceremony, Yoshihiro Nakata, President and CEO of Toyota Motor Europe, said:

Named after the Japanese word for “Number One,” the Ichiban Award reflects Toyota’s “Customer First” philosophy and is regarded as one of the most prestigious customer experience recognitions in the European automotive industry.

The recognition of Toyota Plaza ALJ Ankara highlights the dedication and commitment of the Toyota Türkiye team and reinforces Jameel Motors’ focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences across its international operations.
