Jameel Motors Australia expands Farizon SV range with new high-capacity electric van

Farizon Auto, officially distributed in Australia by Jameel Motors, has expanded its all-electric SV range with the introduction of a new super-long wheelbase high-roof model, offering Australian businesses greater cargo capacity, driving range and operational flexibility.

The new SV SLWB High-Roof becomes the largest model in the local SV range, providing 13 cubic metres of cargo space, a payload capacity of 1,075 kg and a braked towing capacity of 2,000 kg.  Powered by a 106 kWh battery, the model offers a driving range of up to 398 km on the WLTP cycle, supporting delivery, trade and fleet operators with demanding operational requirements.

The launch comes as Australia’s commercial vehicle sector continues its gradual transition towards electrification.  

According to the Australian Automobile Association’s Electric Vehicle Index, internal combustion engine vehicles accounted for 91.55% of new van sales in Australia during the second quarter of 2026, highlighting the significant opportunity to accelerate the adoption of electric alternatives.

The expanded SV line-up sits alongside the recently introduced Farizon V7E compact electric van, giving Australian businesses a broader choice of zero-emission commercial vehicles across different operational requirements.
