Farizon Auto, officially distributed in the United Kingdom by Jameel Motors, is supplying 37 all-electric Farizon SV large vans to DragonSea, supporting the international shipping company’s transition to electric mobility.

DragonSea specialises in transporting the household possessions of customers relocating from China to the United Kingdom.  The new vans will operate from the company’s depots in London and Edinburgh as part of its door-to-door removals service.

The agreement was facilitated by Driveway Vehicle Solutions, which arranged a two-year lease for the fleet, with the vehicles supplied by Pentagon Farizon Derby.

DragonSea selected the Farizon SV L1H1 with an 83 kWh battery after assessing its suitability for carrying large and heavy household items. The model provides 6.95 cubic metres of load space, a maximum payload of 1,265 kg and a low loading height of 550 mm.  Its driving range of up to 234 miles under the WLTP combined cycle also supports the company’s daily operational requirements.

Ben Lowe, Business Development Manager at Driveway Vehicle Solutions, said:

“DragonSea presented a particularly interesting challenge. The business needed an electric van capable of carrying large, heavy household goods while offering the range and reliability to support its specialist removals service. After assessing the available options, it became clear that the Farizon SV was the right fit, combining impressive payload capacity, generous load space and the range needed to support the business’s daily operations.”

Zoe Tonks, Head of Sales, Farizon Auto UK

Zoe Tonks, Head of Sales at Farizon Auto UK, said: “This deal with DragonSea demonstrates another real-world application of the Farizon SV’s defining characteristics. With one of the largest load capacities for a van of its size, up to 234 miles of range, and all the latest driver convenience and comfort functions, the SV is ideal for this customer’s needs.”

The Farizon SV is available with 67 kWh, 83 kWh and 106 kWh battery options, providing a WLTP combined driving range of between 177 and 247 miles, depending on the model. Charging from 20% to 80% takes as little as 36 minutes.

The model has also achieved a five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP.
