Geely Auto, distributed in Poland by Jameel Motors, and iTaxi have entered a collaboration that supports the shift to cleaner and more efficient mobility across Warsaw.

As part of this cooperation, fifty fully electric Geely EX5 vehicles have now joined the iTaxi fleet, marking an important step in the company’s long term goal of electrifying its operations by 2030.  This reflects a shared commitment to safe, modern and environmentally responsible transport solutions for both drivers and passengers.

The Geely EX5 is an advanced electric SUV designed for quiet, comfortable and reliable daily use in busy urban environments offering a 430 kilometres range, fast charging from 30-80% in about twenty minutes and a full suite of safety technologies that include 360⁰ cameras and driver assistance systems.

“We chose Geely because both our brands put safety and travel comfort first, which is crucial for our drivers and passengers,”

says Renata Bardecka, President of iTaxi.

The introduction of electric Geely EX5 taxis is a key step in iTaxi[s fleet electrification strategy, one shaped both by the expectations of Polish passengers and the business’ vision of sustainable, modern urban transport across Polish cities.  The new vehicles will help to reduce emissions and noise in Warsaw while giving customers safe, quiet and comfortable journeys every day.

This cooperation also showcases Geely vehicles’ suitability for demanding fleet use. “Geely vehicles stand out for quality, comfort and safety, which are essential in licensed passenger transport,” comments Agnieszka Kreusch, Fleet Sales Manager, Geely Poland.  The fifty vehicles were handed over at the Geely Warsaw flagship showroom and received a distinctive new iTaxi livery.

Geely is the world’s third largest electric vehicle manufacturer and has been present in the Polish market since July 2025. Geely Poland is part of Jameel Motors, a global mobility partner delivering high quality automotive solutions across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
