Jameel Motors Italia drives momentum with Geely brand rollout

Since the announcement in July this year of the entry of Jameel Motors and Geely Auto in the Italian market, the Jameel Motors Italia team has delivered a remarkable month of impactful launches, brand activations, and strategic positioning, reflecting both Geely’s growing ambition and Jameel Motors’ commitment to innovation and excellence.

The official Geely Auto brand launch took place in September, attended by 40 invited guests and more than 20 top-tier media outlets. The event introduced Geely’s first models in Italy, the Geely EX5 and Starray EM-i Super Hybrid, laying the groundwork for the brand’s market entry. Marco Santucci, Managing Director, Jameel Motors Italia, noted:

with Geely aiming to offer accessible, design-forward, and technologically advanced mobility options that support the country’s energy transition.
Momentum continued at Salon Auto Torino, (the Turin Motor Show) where the spotlight turned to the Italian premiere of the Geely Starray EM-i Super Hybrid.

A press conference, interviews, and test drives elevated brand visibility and positioned Geely as a forward-thinking player in sustainable mobility.

Marco shared, reinforcing the brand’s versatility in addressing diverse customer needs.

Design excellence also took center stage with the Geely EX5 receiving the Torino Automotive Design Award, further validating the global design collaboration between Geely’s Shanghai and Milan studios.
Beyond the showroom floor, Jameel Motors Italia and Geely embraced culture and sport through a high-profile partnership with Lega Basket Serie A.
The announcement was made in true style, on centre court during a live game, as basketball legend Marco Belinelli was handed the keys to a Geely vehicle, marking his new role as brand ambassador.


The month closed with the Fleet & Business Day at Vallelunga, where Geely Italia introduced the EX5 to the fleet market. Over 15 Industry guests took part in briefings, conferences, and track activities showcasing the performance, handling and practicality of Geely’s new energy vehicle technology platform in the EX5.
