Jameel Motors Iraq officially inaugurates OMODA & JAECOO showroom in Erbil

Jameel Motors Iraq, the official distributor of OMODA & JAECOO in the country, has officially inaugurated its new OMODA & JAECOO showroom in Erbil, marking an important milestone in the company’s entry into the Iraqi automotive market.

The inauguration brought together government representatives, business leaders, Jameel Motors leadership, OMODA & JAECOO representatives, customers, dealer partners and members of the automotive community.

The event was attended by H.E. Aydin Maruf Selim, Minister of State for Components Affairs; H.E. Kamaran Salah Bajger, Vice President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce; Yousef Hussein, Chief Executive Officer, Middle East and Levant, Jameel Motors; and representatives from OMODA & JAECOO.

More than 50 members of the media and press, alongside influencers and content creators, also joined the event to mark the official inauguration. The inauguration follows the recent opening of Jameel Motors Iraq’s purpose-developed automotive facility in Erbil. Occupying approximately 9,000 square meters of land, the site brings together sales, aftersales, spare parts and customer support in one integrated destination.

The facility includes an approximately 600 square meter OMODA & JAECOO showroom and an approximately 700 square meter multi-brand workshop, supported by dedicated parts and logistics facilities, customer service and vehicle delivery areas, as well as electric vehicle parking and charging facilities. The site has also been master-planned to support future expansion as Jameel Motors develops its presence in Iraq.

The inauguration marks the next stage in Jameel Motors’ development in Iraq, combining more than 80 years of automotive experience with OMODA & JAECOO’s growing portfolio of innovative, technology-led vehicles. The partnership is focused on building a sustainable local presence, developing strong customer experiences and supporting the continued growth of Iraq’s automotive sector.
