Jameel Motors Iraq, the official distributor of OMODA & JAECOO in Iraq, has opened a new purpose-developed automotive facility in Erbil, strengthening the brands’ presence and bringing sales, after-sales, spare parts and customer support together in one integrated destination.

Occupying approximately 9,000 square meters of land, the completed facility has been designed to provide customers with a comprehensive brand and ownership experience. It includes an approximately 600 square meter OMODA & JAECOO showroom, supported by around 200 square meters of offices and support facilities, alongside dedicated customer service and vehicle delivery areas.

The aftersales operation includes an approximately 700 square meter multi-brand workshop with dedicated service reception areas and washing bays, supported by around 500 square meters of parts and logistics facilities to help ensure efficient servicing and spare-parts availability.
The site also includes electric vehicle parking and charging facilities, as well as a dedicated commercial vehicle showroom area.
The new investment comes as Jameel Motors continues to build its presence in Iraq’s growing automotive market.
According to the World Bank, Iraq’s population exceeds 46 million, while UNFPA reports that around 60% of the population is under the age of 25. Jameel Motors’ 2025 Iraq market-entry announcement also noted that the country’s automotive sector accounts for an estimated 8–10% of total imports, with demand for new energy vehicles supported by a young, technology-focused population.

Kamal Jamal Sultan, Country General Manager, Jameel Motors Iraq, said: “The opening of our new facility in Erbil is an important step in strengthening our presence in Iraq and our long-term commitment to OMODA & JAECOO customers.

By bringing sales, servicing, spare parts and customer support together in one destination location, we provide a more complete ownership experience while building the capabilities needed to support the brands as they grow across the market.”
The 9,000 square meter site has been master-planned to support future expansion, with the potential to accommodate additional showrooms, service facilities and other automotive operations as the business develops. This flexibility provides Jameel Motors Iraq with the opportunity to evolve the location into a broader multi-brand automotive destination in Erbil over time.
