Farizon V7E secures podium finish in International Van of the Year Awards 2027

Farizon Auto UK, part of Jameel Motors, has secured a top-three finish in the 2027 International Van of the Year (IVOTY) Awards with its all-electric V7E medium van.

The result, announced at the Night of the Stars Gala at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover, Germany, marks the second consecutive year that a Farizon vehicle has finished on the podium at the awards, following the Farizon SV large van’s runner-up finish in IVOTY 2026.

An expert panel of jurors from 26 countries selected the V7E as a finalist after evaluating new light commercial vehicles introduced to global markets during the year. The awards consider factors including efficiency, safety, practicality, versatility and user-friendliness.

Purpose-built as an electric commercial vehicle, the V7E combines cargo capacity and payload capability with competitive range, rapid charging and advanced drive-by-wire technology. It offers up to 6.95 cubic metres of cargo capacity, a payload of up to 1,338 kilograms and a 500-millimetre cargo platform to support easier loading and unloading.

The V7E delivers a range of up to 295 miles (475 kilometres) on the WLTP City cycle and 204 miles (328 kilometres) WLTP Combined. A 20–80% charge can be completed in as little as 18 minutes, helping minimise downtime for commercial users.
