Burj Khalifa lights up Dubai sky for Jameel Motors’ Farizon Auto UAE launch
Following the recent signing of a distribution agreement between Jameel Motors, a leading provider of mobility solutions and partner of choice to top automotive brands, and Farizon Auto, Geely Group’s New Energy Commercial Vehicle brand, for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) – the new Farizon SuperVan was launched at a glittering event hosted at the Armani Hotel Dubai, UAE at the foot of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.`
More than 200 guests, including VIPs from media and press, government officials, the business community, Geely and Farizon Auto executives, together with Abdul Latif Jameel and Jameel Motors Associates, and partners enjoyed the event in January 2025.
Jameel Motors UAE will initially focus on the distribution of innovative brands within the Geely-Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group covering electric, hybrid, hydrogen, and methanol vehicles including the innovative all electric Farizon SuperVan model in a number of body styles and configurations.
Geely Farizon is China’s first commercial vehicle brand to offer a full range of new energy products, including heavy trucks, light trucks, micro trucks, LCVs, and buses and the UAE is a new market entry for both Farizon Auto and Jameel Motors. Expanding their green mobility solutions to the UAE, which has a population of almost 10 million, will strengthen their footprint in the region, and is central to Jameel Motors’ strategy. The Farizon SuperVan models will be available for purchase in the UAE in H1 2025.
