Lexus Türkiye wins ‘Best Public Relations Event’ award

Jameel Motors’ Türkiye operations continues the successful opening of 2024, with yet another prominent award.  The Lexus Türkiye team, part of Jameel Motors, wins the accolade of “Best Public Relations Event” awarded by ACE of MICE, for innovative press launch of the new Lexus LM Model in 2023.

The Lexus LM launch, held in Thessaloniki, Greece, was dedicated to the 100^th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye, and saw a world first with an interactive press conference being performed with a live broadcast from inside a moving vehicle.

The highly innovative and engaging event concept turned a hotel in Thessaloniki into a first-class airline business lounge area.  

All Lexus Türkiye guests experienced a true-to-life private airport travel experience with tickets, luggage tags, lounge entrance invitation card and “Fly Lexus” airport-style announcements, which aptly reflected Lexus’ ‘Making Luxury Personal’ approach.

Lexus LM models, providing unparalleled ‘first-class comfort’ while guests relax in the airport first-class lounge area, formed the fleet of ‘Fly Lexus.’  

Guests were escorted into the VIP rear seats of the Lexus LM models with special announcements, while inside the vehicle, the features of the model were complemented with voiceovers inspired by the airplane ‘Captain’s announcements.’  

Guests were also greeted by a captain in full pilot’s uniform in the driver’s seat and a host in a stylish airline outfit in the front passenger seat.  

Lexus Türkiye’s launch surprises continued with the scheduled press briefing being held, live in the Lexus LM in what is believed to be a world first of an interactive press conference in a moving vehicle.

Guests who watched the product details had the chance to experience the features inside the vehicle at the same time.

After the press conference, guests visited the Atatürk House Museum accompanied by renowned historian, author and professional guide Saffet Emre Tonguç, in the Lexus LM to experience a special, one-of-a kind event, on the 100^th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye.
