Jameel Motors Iraq hosts first OMODA & JAECOO test drive event in Erbil

In February 2025, Jameel Motors Iraq hosted its first public test drive event in Erbil, bringing together local audiences to experience OMODA & JAECOO vehicles in a real world setting.  The event took place at Shanidar Park on February 16 and 17 and formed part of Jameel Motors Iraq’s wider effort to engage directly with drivers and communities in the Kurdistan Region and across Iraq.

Across the two days, the program drew almost 500 guests, including car enthusiasts and members of the media.  The event was attended by Iraqi social media influencers and received wide coverage, including more than 50 media outlets and AVA TV, one of the leading channels in Kurdistan.

Visitors took part in supervised test drives and explored vehicle features up close, with many highlighting smooth handling, responsive performance, and intuitive in car technologies that supported the overall driving experience.
