Jameel Motors Egypt and GAC recognized at Egypt Car of the Year Awards 2026

Jameel Motors Egypt, the official distributor of GAC in Egypt, has been recognized with two awards at the Egypt Car of the Year Awards 2026, reflecting the brand’s strong performance in the Egyptian automotive market.

The 16th annual Egypt Car of the Year (ECOTY) Awards took place in June 2026 at the Triumph Luxury Hotel in Cairo, celebrating outstanding vehicles, brands and executives across the sector.

The recognition reflects Jameel Motors Egypt’s strong performance as the official distributor of GAC in Egypt. The Strategic Growth Excellence Award recognizes GAC’s outstanding sales growth in the Egyptian market during 2025/2026 compared with 2024/2025.

The GAC EMPOW was also named Best-Selling Chinese Luxury Mid-Size Sedan in Egypt, according to the Insurance Pool for Licensing Report, further reinforcing the model’s growing popularity and appeal among customers.
