Jameel Motors’ BYD Türkiye celebrates outstanding sales performance and three Gladiators Awards

BYD Türkiye, part of Jameel Motors, marked a landmark moment at the ODMD Sales and Communication Awards – 2025 Gladiators, held on January 6 in Istanbul. Organized by the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association (ODMD), the ceremony recognized the most successful sales and communication achievements in the Turkish automotive industry, alongside the official announcement of the 2025 market results.
According to 2025 Türkiye Automotive Market data, BYD Türkiye closed 2025 with 45,537 vehicle sales, earning the title of Türkiye’s Fastest Growing Automotive Brand.
The brand also secured market leadership in New Energy Vehicles, achieved a clear leadership position in the Plug-in Hybrid segment with 25,858 units sold, and ranked as the third most preferred brand in the Electric Vehicle market with 19,679 sales.

This strong performance was reflected across the product portfolio. With a combined 30,380 units sold, the BYD SEAL U in both DM-i and EV versions became the second most preferred model in the overall SUV segment, while all BYD models ranked among the top three vehicles in their respective segments.

Alongside commercial success, BYD Türkiye’s communication excellence was recognized with two Gladiators Awards. The BYD Technology Show, held in September and realized for the first time in Europe in Türkiye, received the Press Launch of the Year award based on votes from leading automotive journalists. The brand’s Cat or Baby? campaign, highlighting BYD’s Child Presence Detection Technology, was awarded Radio Application of the Year.

With a total of three awards received at the Gladiators ceremony, these results underline BYD Türkiye’s strong market position, sustainable growth strategy, and the outstanding contribution of its dealer network and teams. Together with Jameel Motors, the brand continues to demonstrate how performance, innovation, and teamwork translate into measurable impact across Türkiye’s rapidly evolving mobility landscape.
