Toyota Lexus Morocco open new outlets in line with network expansion strategy
Two new outlets in the Toyota Lexus Morocco network have opened across the country as part of the strategy to reach new customers and expand the offering of hybrid vehicles in the country.
Toyota du Maroc has launched a pop-up store in the heart of Casablanca, the city responsible for almost half of all market volume, within a busy shopping mall which is increasing the brand’s visibility among those interested in exploring Toyota’s extensive range of economic and climate-friendly hybrid models.
Situated outside the busiest Carrefour hypermarket in Morocco, Toyota is the first brand in the country to operate an outlet of this kind bringing the Toyota experience closer to our customers.
“We are excited to connect with new customers and reinvigorate our brand in Casablanca,” said Salma Moukbil, General Manager, Abdul Latif Jameel Motors Morocco. “The initial response has been very positive and, as such, we have decided to keep the pop-up in place for at least one year. This is a unique opportunity for us to communicate the benefits of hybrid vehicles to a mass audience and our visitor numbers, test drives and orders are very reassuring.”
Continuing the expansion strategy, Lexus Morocco has opened its second outlet in the country, in Marrakesh, which holds almost 10% share in the local premium market and is a strategic city in terms of tourism, agriculture and industry.
The new 275 square meter showroom has seen high footfall since opening at the beginning of summer and features new cars for sale as well as a service center.
