Jameel Motors, a leading international provider of mobility solutions and partner of choice to global automotive brands, organised the first edition of “The Partners Summit” in Beijing. The Summit brought together Jameel Motors’ partners retailing Chinese automotive brands across its international retail network for three days of collaboration and immersion.

Jameel Motors represents some of the world’s most recognised Chinese automotive brands such as BYD, GAC Motor, MG Motor, Changan Automobile, Geely Auto, Farizon Auto, Zeekr and Omoda & Jaecoo, partnering with them to succeed abroad. It operates across the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Australia and in 2025 alone, entered seven new international markets.

In an industry undergoing rapid change, one constant remains: success is determined in local markets. For Chinese automotive brands operating abroad, this means understanding local customer expectations and aligning with them to build long‑term trust on the ground. Dealers are central to this effort. They act as frontline guardians of reputation, shaping the ownership experience from sales to service. That is why Jameel Motors, building on over 80 years of expertise, has made first-class dealer network design and management a key strategic pillar, with a focus on delivering consistent customer experiences, embedding clear operating standards, and enabling partners to scale performance across diverse markets.

The Summit – held from April 25–27 – brought partners together to reaffirm Jameel Motors’ strategic direction, launch the Jameel Motors Academy as its new capability-building platform, and immerse the network in one of the world’s most dynamic automotive markets. Timed to coincide with the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, the Summit offered a unique opportunity for

Fady Jameel, Vice Chairman, International, Abdul Latif Jameel noted:

“No market is the same, and dealers help shape how a brand is experienced every day at a local level. By bringing our partners to Beijing, we wanted them to connect with each other and experience first-hand the pace of change here, drawing inspiration from one of the most innovative automotive hubs and taking that back to their own markets.”

A deliberate choice of venue

China today stands out as the most competitive automotive market globally. By 2025, six of the world’s top ten EV makers were Chinese, and the country accounted for more than 60% of all electric vehicles sold worldwide[1]. Summit delegates experienced this directly, touring flagship retail showrooms from Huawei, Zeekr, Xiaomi and NIO in Beijing’s Wangfujing district and drawing inspiration from their distinct approaches to modern automotive retail. The programme closed with a visit to the Great Wall, placing China’s pace of innovation in the context of a civilization that has always built for the long term.

A long-term platform for dialogue

The Summit also brought together senior leadership from Jameel Motors and its international partners for an evening of informal strategic dialogue. The evening celebrated Chinese culture, including Peking Opera and a live calligraphy demonstration, while reinforcing the shared values and long-term vision underpinning collaboration between Jameel Motors, its international partners and leading Chinese automotive brands.

The Partners Summit is set to become an annual initiative, continuing Jameel Motors’ commitment to convening its partner network to align on strategy, exchange insights, and accelerate growth, while building a connected and consistent global network.
