Following its appointment as the official distributor for the innovative Chinese brand GAC Motor, Jameel Motors launched its first Jameel Motors branded facility – the flagship GAC Motor store in the Abu Rawash Giza district of Cairo, Egypt.

In November 2023, Jameel Motors Egypt and GAC Motor held a groundbreaking event in anticipation for the unveiling of GAC Motor Egypt.  The launch gala, hosted in the Four Seasons Hotel, was attended by over 300 guests, including senior officials from GAC Motor, Abdul Latif Jameel and Jameel Motors Egypt, as well as media, influencers, and industry insiders.

Attending the event were Fady Jameel, Deputy President & Vice Chairman, International, Abdul Latif Jameel; Hasan Al-Alami, Senior Managing Director Jameel Motors Middle East & Africa; Steven Wang, Deputy General Manager GAC International, Jasmmine Wong, Vice President, Mobility, Abdul Latif Jameel; Wyatt Wang, General Manager, Africa Region GAC International and Tarek Abdulatif, Regional Director, Jameel Motors Egypt.

On the occasion, Jasmmine Wong, Vice President Mobility Abdul Latif Jameel said:
