Toyota and Lexus Türkiye obtain ISO certifications reflecting culture of continuous improvement

The teams at Toyota Türkiye and Lexus Türkiye, part of Jameel Motors, are celebrating the completion of a two-year process to obtain numerous, sought-after and rigorous ISO certifications.
Initiated by Toyota Türkiye in February 2023 to secure the ISO 14001 (Environment Management System) and ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System) certificates, the process evolved and grew to target ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 10002 – Customer Satisfaction Management System, and ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
The ISO 9001 stands out as a particularly significant and demanding certification. Unlike others that focus on specific processes, ISO 9001 covers the entirety of a company’s operations, requiring the active involvement and collaboration of all departments across the organization.
Achieving this certification is not only a testament to the quality-driven approach at Toyota and Lexus in Türkiye, but also a clear reflection of the strong teamwork and shared commitment across the businesses.
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is an independent and globally recognized body that develops international standards to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in products, services, and systems.
Obtaining an ISO certification means that an organization operates in compliance with globally accepted standards and consistently applies these practices across its processes.
ISO certifications serve as a mark of organizational excellence across a wide range of areas — from environmental responsibility and information security to customer satisfaction and occupational health and safety.
These certifications are not only a sign of technical compliance but also reflect trust, transparency, and a strong culture of continuous improvement.
