Ping Chen (陈平) serves as Managing Director, OEM Management & Business Development China, Jameel Motors, part of Abdul Latif Jameel, a collective of independent international, family-owned and diversified businesses, founded in 1945 by the late Abdul Latif Jameel.
Ping oversees all partnership management and development for Chinese automotive brand partners as well as new business development and growth for Jameel Motors in the Chinese market and for Chinese OEM seeking partners in the Middle East, North African markets.
Prior to joining Abdul Latif Jameel, Mr. Chen held notable consultancy and strategic management positions across the mobility and market research sectors in China.
Most recently, Ping was Associate Partner, Bain & Company, China focusing on advanced manufacturing and specialising in partnerships and joint ventures, investment due diligence, and strategy.
Previously, Ping has held leadership roles across the automotive industry in China including Didi Chuxing, Autohome Inc, and BMW China.
Ping holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from Fudan University, China. He speaks Mandarin and English.
