Saudi Motorsport Company and Jameel Motorsport collaborate to bring first-ever MERC and WRC rounds to Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Motorsport Company and Jameel Motorsport, part of Abdul Latif Jameel Motors, the authorized distributor of Toyota vehicles in Saudi Arabia since 1955 have signed a strategic collaboration agreement to bring the FIA Middle East Rally Championship (MERC) and World Rally Championship (WRC) to Saudi Arabia for the very first time.

The agreement was formalized yesterday at a private signing ceremony held at the Saudi Motorsport Company headquarters, attended by Mansour Almokbel, the Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Motorsport Company and Munir Khoja, Managing Director of Jameel Motorsport and Marketing Communications at Abdul Latif Jameel Motors.

As Title Sponsor, Jameel Motorsport will provide strategic support to Rally Saudi Arabia — Powered by Jameel Motorsport, while Saudi Motorsport Company oversees all event operations. The rally debuts in Jeddah on 1–3 May 2025 as Round 3 of the MERC and returns on 27–30 November 2025 for the Kingdom’s first-ever WRC season finale.
