Rally Jameel, the first women-only navigational rally in the Middle East, has successfully concluded its fourth edition, marking a historic milestone as the event expanded beyond Saudi Arabia, kicking off for the very first time in Petra, Jordan.

The closing ceremony was held in Al Qassim, a region renowned for its rich cultural heritage and agricultural significance, under the gracious patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al Qassim Province, who attended the event to honor the winners and celebrate the rally’s successful conclusion.

Reem Al Aboud from Saudi Arabia and Hanna Riehle from Germany, representing Jameel Motorsport and driving a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, secured first place after a consistent and high-performing run across all four stages. They were followed by Mashael Alhowaish from Saudi Arabia and Taye Perry from South Africa, competing for Lexus Racing Team and driving a Lexus RX 500H, who took second place. In third place came Farah Zakaria and Farah Ateyyat, both from Jordan, representing Al Markazia Toyota and driving a Toyota Fortuner.

Organized by Jameel Motorsport, part of Abdul Latif Jameel Motors, the authorized distributor of Toyota vehicles in Saudi Arabic since 1955, with the support of the FIA Women in Motorsport and the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF), this year’s edition brought together 41 teams representing 37 countries and 25 motorsport federations from across the world.

Over six days and more than 1,600 kilometers, participants followed a route that blended technical challenge with cultural discovery. From Petra’s awe-inspiring stone passageways to the dramatic mountain ranges of Tabuk, the historic landscapes of AlUla, and the desert trails of Hail, the rally offered a journey through some of the region’s most breathtaking and diverse terrains, culminating in Al Qassim, a region celebrated for its palm groves and lush farmland. The route not only tested skill and endurance but also reaffirmed the growing status of Saudi Arabia and Jordan as global destinations for adventure tourism and motorsport.

Munir Khoja, Managing Director of Jameel Motorsport and Marketing Communications at Abdul Latif Jameel Motors:

“Rally Jameel continues to push boundaries, redefining what’s possible in motorsport and beyond. As a Saudi-born initiative, it’s deeply rewarding to see how the rally has evolved into a global platform, reflecting the values of ambition, progress, and empowerment that lie at the heart of Vision 2030. Every year, we witness more women daring to lead, navigate, and inspire, and that’s the true victory we celebrate today. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the participants for their incredible spirit, determination, and sportsmanship throughout this unforgettable journey.”

Reem Al Aboud, who secured first place alongside her teammate Hanna Riehle, expressed her pride in the achievement, saying:

“Standing at the top of the leaderboard today is an incredible honor—and a reflection of every decision, every calculation, and every moment of resilience throughout this rally. Rally Jameel pushed us beyond our limits and brought together a global community of women who are boldly claiming their place in motorsport. We competed with determination, supported each other without hesitation, and proved just how far we can go. I’m proud of what we achieved out there—and proud to bring this win home. I would also like to thank to Jameel Motorsport for their unwavering support and belief in us throughout this journey.”

Launched in 2022, Rally Jameel continues to serve as a pioneering platform for women in motorsport, providing a supportive and inclusive space for participants of all backgrounds to achieve new horizons. Its expanding international profile and growing interest from national and international organizations reflect its status as a key event on the motorsport calendar and a beacon of women’s advancement in the region.
