Reuters reports on Jameel Motors launching Chery’s OMODA & JAECOO brand in Iraq

Reuters has reported on Jameel Motors signing an agreement with Chery Automobile Co. Ltd to distribute the automaker’s OMODA & JAECOO brand in Iraq, further expanding its presence in emerging markets.

The launch will include the Omoda C5 and C7, along with the Jaecoo J5, J7 (plug-in hybrid), and J8, offering Iraqi customers a selection of advanced, stylish, and capable vehicles. All models, except the J7, will feature petrol powertrains.

This partnership builds on Jameel Motors’ growing list of collaborations with leading Chinese automakers, strengthening its mission to deliver high-quality mobility solutions tailored to local market needs.
