Wong emphasized Jameel Motors’ growing partnerships with leading Chinese OEMs including BYD, GAC, Farizon, and SAIC, with recent distribution agreements spanning South Africa, Poland, Turkey, and Morocco. These market-specific collaborations reflect a flexible strategy that balances internal combustion, hybrid, and EV technologies based on regional needs.
While challenges remain—ranging from brand recognition to after-sales infrastructure—Wong pointed to the unmatched innovation of Chinese vehicles, stating, “Once you drive one, the experience is transformative.”
