The Toyota Intra-Company Training Program
Abdul Latif Jameel Motors Saudi Arabia, a Jameel Motors brand, has been committed to enhancing the skills and expertise of its Associates since the beginning.
For almost two decades now, the Toyota Intra-Company Training (ICT) Program has provided a unique opportunity to work in Toyota Motor Corporation offices in Japan or its regional offices worldwide for up to two years.
Through this program, participants are given the chance to delve into Japanese culture, as well as expand their knowledge of the ‘Toyota Way’ and ‘Kaizen’ philosophy for continuous improvement.
The program also offers training courses covering various areas such as marketing, supply chain management, spare parts services, etc. This experience has qualified some of Abdul Latif Jameel Motors’ leaders and has helped develop the skills of future leaders, in line with the Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, to strengthen the national workforce and enhance their capabilities.
The Abdul Latif Jameel Management Trainee Program
The Abdul Latif Jameel Management Trainee Program, (MTP) is a global accelerated talent development initiative, aimed at strategically identifying and nurturing the best international talent from some of the world’s leading schools and universities, or from recently joined Associates from around our businesses.
Successful applicants undertake a program that travels through a series of rich experiences, supported by targeted training, mentoring, practical assignments, and assessments – ultimately placing them into the global corporate talent pool and career development pipeline.
The program is intended to put Associates on a fast track to managerial positions across our family of businesses around the world.
This 24-month program is structured in five major sections which helps Associates get to know the Abdul Latif Jameel family of businesses, their colleagues, and how to integrate smoothly into our culture.

Everyone’s professional journey starts somewhere. Mine started in 2004 in Tokyo, Japan, as a graduate from Sophia University. I joined Toyota Motor Corporation as a trainee, where I had the opportunity to work in the domestic Kaizen department. The knowledge I learnt from this early experience has played a central role in my personal and professional development to this day.
That is why I am so excited to see Abdul Latif Jameel deliver a program aimed at transforming talented youth into future leaders.
